BETWEEN DUST AND RAIN

This short film in partnership with KAWASAKI follows two cousins running a land regeneration project in Yuma, Arizona, using cattle to improve soil health and bring life back to the land. We shot the film at sunrise and sunset with a three person crew, sleeping on the floor at the rancher’s house and working around the realities of the operation. I directed, edited and shot film for this piece. The film is simple and honest, focused on the land, the work, and why cattle matter in restoring it.
